We're working on refocusing EMTBravo.com, and, with such, have come up with a new tagline for the site:
EMTBRAVO.COM
The Emergency Services Website For NYC's Northern Suburbs
While EMTBravo.com is working to become the portal for the above community, we continue to work to grow our other sites into what EMTBravo.com has become.

EMTBravo Launches New Donation Portal
As many of you know, the EMTBravo websites relies on financial contributions from its members to stay alive, especially with the drought of advertisers we've been experiencing as of late.
Until now, our donation system has been a very basic direct PayPal contribution. We have always wanted to implement a system that outlined our goals, and recognize our donors, but all methods had been complicated, time consuming, or both.
We are very excited that we finally found donation system software that meets our needs. So, if you have a chance, check out EMTBravo's NEW Donation Portal:

EMTBravo.net Launches Premium Membership Program
EMTBravo.net has rolled out a "Premium Member" program in order to support server costs for the EMTBravo.net FORUM.
This is a subscription membership program. It is $2.75 a month, and all proceeds goes toward the cost of running this website, mainly server costs.
Joining this program is optional and voluntary.
At this time, you can only pay via PayPa on a monthly basis. We hope to rollout more payment options soon. Also, no additional features are offered with a Premium Membership, but that will change in the near future.
In order to become a "Premium Member":
1. Click the "My Controls" link at the top of the EMTBravo.net page.
2. Scroll down the left sidebar, under the "Options" section, click "Purchase Paid Subscriptions"
3. Follow it from there

EMTBravo Down....Again (4-18-08)
The EMTBravo websites are currently experiencing another outage.
We are working on the situation, and hope to have the site back up this evening.
Once again, we thank you for your patience and loyalty during this frusterating situation. Every time we think we get to the root of the problem, another seems to pop up.
If this continues, we will be looking for another server host.

EMTBravo Down....Again (4-10-08)
Once again, the EMTBravo websites are curently down.
I am doing all that I can to get this issue resolved once and for all, and I appreciate everyone's patience and loyalty. Trust me, I'm just as frusterated by this as you may be.
I hope to have the sites back online this evening. The server for EMTBravo is co-managed by a private company, so right now it's out of my hands.
Will advise when I have further

EMTBravo Photos Are Back!!
,As many of you know, I've been searching for a way to revive EMTBravo.com a bit, especially in the photo area.
What I've come up with, I think, is a good solution that won't cost me hours of time, something that prohibted me, especially lately, from posting photos.
As you can see, on http://www.emtbravo.net, there is an "EMTBravo Photos" section of this forum now, with several subcategories. You can start a thread in one of the apprpriate, specific subcategories, and post your photos (please see the guidelines in this forum BEFORE posting) for all the visitors of EMTBravo.com to see, immediately.
As an added bonus, the photos can be discussed, and future expansion of this project will allow for a "Photo Of The Month" and "Photographer Of The Month" contests.
I also hope to create a dynamic link to the photo categories on the main page of EMTBravo.com within the coming weeks.
I am working on transitioning some forums into the new system.
I hope you like this new concept, and appreciate your patience while we roll out this new system.
Please contact me at Seth@EMTBravo.com to report any bugs.
If you need help posting photos, please see the Photo Posting Guidelines on EMTBravo.net for information on how to obtain help.

EMTBravo Faces Turbulent Financial Times Again
A personal situation has caused me to basically go bankrupt temporarily, and hasn't left me with much time to shore up the finances of EMTBravo since the last financial crisis.
So, we're again reaching out to our members for support. If you would like to keep EMTBravo online, please donate what you can. Visit http://www.emtbravo.com/ for details.
We really appreciate our members generosity. Especially those who are always the first to open there wallets whenever I have trouble.....seems like many people just freeload off of these core group of dedicated EMTBravo staff and members. Our total costs per month are in the $300-400/month range, and we usually can just scrape by. Things were going well and the financial health of the site was improving, until a personal situation caused some turbulence in my life that drained my of all my personal funds that I had to cover the deficit, as well as time to manage the advertising program properly.
In the coming months, we'll be opening our forums to small ads on the top and bottom, to open a new stream of revenue. We're also going to start billing advertisers on a regular, monthly basis, and if they don't pay, there will be no grace period. We'll also keep the donation portal open, even though it humiliates me to have to keep asking for money, but I want to keep the site online. And finally, we're going to start renting space on our server for other websites.
Please note, ALL donations go towards the EMTBravo server costs....because if I can't make the payment next week, then we go bankrupt and the server gets shut down.
On another note, over the next several months, we'll also be redesigning the site to tie everything in better. Our infastructure is continuing to grow, and our new staff is doing a great job with the forums. EMTBravo will be reinvented for the better, and we can't wait to show you!

EMTBravo Busy Providing Infastrcutre For Future Growth
The EMTBravo Group, over the past few months, has been working hard to deal with tremndous growth in traffic to our sites.
We are currently working hard to provide an infastructure to ensure every visitor and member to our site has an enjoyable, easy visit.
One of the way we're doing this is by recruiting an excellent team to help me with all the different aspects of running the site. So far, our team has been an excellent resource for me, and has already made tremendous improvements to the site, as well as taken a load of my shoulders, allowing me to focus on top-end administration and IT.
Although we've made tremendous progress so far with EMTBravo, such as moving onto our own servers, we're not done yet. Over the next few months, you'll be seeing some significant changes to all of our sites to tie them all in together, make them easier to use, more effiecient, and make them more informative. You'll also see some neat new features and other things sure to spark your interest.
We're always open to suggestions and would love to hear your ideas....email me at EMTBravo@EMTBravo.com, and I'll present your idea to the EMTBravo Webteam Staff for further development and/or approval. Some of our best ideas come from our members.
